Members of Greenvisions and the Sierra Club of Canada (Peel Group) stepped in to prevent the destruction of old growth trees after receiving a tip.

The Greenvisions committee would like to thank all the Citizens who stepped up on May 7th at City Hall to make a difference. Special thanks also to the Sierra Club (Peter Orphanos) for all their assistance. We know many more wanted to be there. To the children who presented, well done, be proud kids! We believe our elected officials have heard our message loud and clear. Our trust is now in the hands of Mayor Fennell and our Council to do the right thing. However, we can't sit back, the fight is still far from over so please keep helping.
